I admire his intellectural honesty here, admitting that he was wrong on an issue that he thinks is important. The case for eating vegetarian is still strong although we need to be reminded that cows and other livestock fulfill a niche as well and eating a few of them would not be such a big problem.However this leaves the ethical discussion whether it would be ok to kill animals or not. Let’s take that discussion another time, shall we?
