    - … and you will lead happy life full of exciting experiences.
  • Greenway Communique: Climate Change in Skiing Adverts
    - They installed a solar array on a mountain (pictured here) that provides “$300 dollars of electricity per year when we consume $3 million” – and the stakeholders didn’t accuse them of greenwashing. The key, as Nathan, describes is that it has to be consistent with the company’s values. However I still think that walking the talk is essential, it will always benefit in the long run.
  • Create Your Own Sun Jar: Lifehacker Edition
    - Just a nice way of creating a sun jar.
  • 20 careers that will make the future less dystopian
    - Let’s save the world !
  • NETRA – Camera Culture Group, MIT Media Lab
    - helping developing countries leap-frog as well make it cheaper for opticians in developing countries. This technology, which is essentially a smart solution, could help a lot of people.
  • I’m quitting the Internet. Will I be liberated or left behind? (1) – By James Sturm – Slate Magazine
    - I admit it, I’m an internet addict, doing my best not to procrastinate and use my time productively. This story that ran during 2 months some time ago is such a lovely piece about how a person actually coped with being without internet entirely ( although he did use at a very special occasion in the middle ).
  • Winner of Starbucks’ Coffee Cup Challenge Isn’t a Coffee Cup | Fast Company
    - I really like this solution of reducing paper cups. I wonder if it works. Having a rebate when you bring your own cup is not nearly as exciting. However, I wonder which would work the best in the end. What would people be most motivated by?
  • An Energy-Independent Future – The Daily Show with Jon Stewart – 6/16/2010 – Video Clip | Comedy Central
    - This now 2 months old video clip is both tragic and hilarious. It’s also one of the best journalistic piece I’ve seen so far. Worth to come back to again and again. It really raises the issue of the challenges we have in front of us. And do you know why the us didn’t break free from oil sooner, because nixon was a … won’t reveal it, so watch the clip :)
  • The future of social responsibility: CSR when it isn’t CSR : Wolfstar
    - I would say that this is how I percieve true CSR. It’s not supposed to be a finish, it’s supposed to be their business. Isn’t the end goal to make society better off, rather than worse off anyway? Having a business that externalizes their cost onto society is simply not the way if we want to live in a world where everybody can thrive. Tom’s initiative is definitely a good step in the right direction.
